o        1959 A.B. Saint Joseph's Seminary College, Washington, D.C. in preparation to work in the Black Apostolate as a Roman Catholic Josephite priest. I left two years before ordination with a concentration in philosophy.

o        1961 M.A. Kent State University, "Racial Tensions in Ohio Politics: 1865-1871" thesis

o        1972 Ph.D. Kent State University, cognate area in Sociology and Anthropology, "Cleveland and the Negro Following World War II" dissertation topic

o        1998 retirement Thomas Nelson Community College. I took additional course work to teach Political Science in the Virginia Community College System. For twenty-eight years I proudly taught Black History.
